It all started with paper hat bags...
Back in the early 1900s when men wore top hats or bowlers, Heyman Miller, grandfather to CEO John Miller, sold bags to protect men’s hats from railroad soot. Now 100 years later, we have 100,000 products and more than 10,000 customers nationwide.
We’re excited to celebrate our centennial anniversary this year. This milestone event wouldn’t be possible without talented associates, long-term partners, and amazing customers.
Over the past four generations, we’ve watched our organization grow with new products, services, and locations. We’ve worked over the past 100 years to create, innovate and grow with hundreds of leading manufacturers. We truly appreciate the support of our supplier community and look forward to the next 100 years of partnership.
Thanks for All Your Support
To all our Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze partners.
From Our Partners
"Having great distribution partners, like North American, it's the one plus one, equals three at the end of the day. North American has consummate customer values. A lot to deliver with purpose, do what's right for that customer set at the end. And when you have a great brand and great distribution at value, that customer exchange, again it's a great formula for success."
-- Chris Tesmer, Vice President of Sales and General Manager, Newell Brands/Rubbermaid
"One of the things about North American that really differentiates them is this really focus on doing everything that you can to service the needs of the customers. I think that goes in all levels of the organization. I think it's a passion and attention to detail that really makes a difference."
-- Don Lewis, CEO, Essity North America
Thanks To Our Winning Team
Nearly 800 associates, family members, suppliers, customers, and friends joined us this weekend at the Shedd Aquarium to celebrate North American’s 100th Anniversary.
As a family-owned business, this night was dedicated to celebrating and commemorating family. Children and adults alike were entertained by performing dolphins, roaming magicians, face painters, caricature artists, and more. The grand finale was watching fireworks with amazing views of the Chicago skyline.
We thank everyone who helped make this milestone event possible and look forward to the next 100 years!
